I may have to if the issues keep showing up. I haven't tried anything else since back in the days that I was happy with Evo. It will just pause for a second and start up again and be behind. The killer is the not following the cursor in ProTools. I also liked being able to move objects on the fly during playback, but no more.

I'm generally going through and doing a full edit anyway, so it hasn't killed me to have to nudge things here and there, but I do have to keep delay compensation on. Enabling the delay compensation pretty much gets it, but there's still tinkering to be done. If I drop the AT plug on a track and don't have the auto delay compensation turned on, everything is just way behind. The non-killers (but still annoyances) are how slow it is to do things (like try to highlight a section of objects by click/dragging) when editing. I haven't noticed this version sounding "Autotuney", as that sounds pretty good to me, and maybe even a slight improvement over the old versions I used, but everything else is dead on. Another person confirming I'm not nuts (I have another thread on it). It's damn near impossible to teach proper use of it and Melodyne is starting to look very very attractive. You're going to start losing users by the hundreds. It doesn't track normally, sounds very "autotuney", it has a REALLY hard time following the curser in protools, the user interface is SLOOOOFrustrating with a capitol "EFFFFF".Ĭome on Antares.get it in gear. and I feel that this is BY FAR the glitchiest version.

I am an instructor at a recording school and we have the latest Protools 11 and the latest Autotune 7.7.5. This combination has been the most solid in my experience. Although, I have recently been using Autotune EVO/Protools 10 with great success in my personal studio. I used to have to put a random piece of audio before my actual audio that I wanted to tune in order for it to "catch up to itself" and not delay it and cause a glitch. It has saved the day for me countless upon countless times.but let me tell you, it has ALWAYS been glitchy with latency issues. I've been using Autotune since it's inception. Hi! I just wanted to donate my two cents. Who the **** is testing this stuff? Omnisphere is a full on bug fest too and Spectrasonics are usually really good. I've never been so disappointed by or lost so much time (and therefore money) because of one plugin. But one of the main features of Autotune is autoscrolling and real time processing. In the mean time, I'll just commit the tuning by recording the tuned tracks to an audio track. And I had to pay for the AAX upgrade? Hardly anyone made us pay for the upgrades, but Antares? C'mon guys. With this ridiculous glitch and the fact that Autotune has a number of unresolved glitches that have existed for freakin' like yearssss now, I'm thinking I'll just go to melodyne. I tried importing tracks from a backup and it was the same.

and that's on top of the countless hrs I've lost from other random AT glitches in the past, forcing me to restart the bounce or commit the correction to a new audio track. We're talking 2.5 hrs of correction work, down the drain. Secondly, I just opened a session to do mix notes for a client and on 4 of the Autotune tracks, the plugin is completely EMPTY! There is no track data or correction data.

I upgraded to AAX 64bit Autotune 7 to use in Pro Tools 11 and it's totally broken.įirst of all, it doesn't follow along in real time correctly so line notes are "correcting" in places that are totally wrong, giving it a chipmunk or just glitchy quality. So glad I found people with the same frustrations as myself!!!!
